1. Will I have a scar under my nose? Because the incision is placed in the "crease" where the nose meets the lip, the scar is very well hidden. After the initial redness fades (usually within 3-6 months), most patients find it impossible to see without looking very closely.
2. Is the procedure painful? No. Most patients report that the local anesthesia injection is the only uncomfortable part. During the surgery, you won't feel a thing, and post-op discomfort is very mild.
